National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will take place on Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to rid your parents and loved ones medicine cabinets of those accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs — and to safely dispose of those medications.
To learn more and find a deposit location near you, visit the press release.
Don’t flush them — it puts those drugs into our water supply. Informed.
Thank you! I shared the link to the press release on facebook. I have unused Exelon patches (Mom was taken off of it) that I’d like to get rid of in a safe way.
Great — I figured it would be useful!
I tweeted the link to the press release! 🙂
thanks for the reminder

Fantastic idea.
Reblogging. Hope that’s ok!
Absolutely. The more that know the better!
Yes! Good to know. Thanks for sharing and I’m going to repost on FB as well.
Awesome. Thanks for the note.
It’s amazing how many prescription drugs the elderly will hold on to. Last year we got rid of hundreds of pills that had expired, some ten years ago. Thanks for the reminder.
